With the upcoming release of Matt Reeves’s “THE BATMAN” (in theaters on March 4th, 2022), we figured we’d take the opportunity to do a quick rundown of every confirmed character appearing in the new movie (as well as a couple who *might* make an appearance?), along with where they first appeared in the Batman comics, who played them in previous movies, and some of our recommended stories to read before (or after) seeing the new movie!

“METROID: DREAD” – THE STORY SO FAR…
Reblogged from GeekToGeekMedia.com!
“METROID: DREAD” is finally out on the Nintendo Switch! It’s the first new (non-remake) 2D Metroid game in 19 years. It’s the 11th game in the series and the 5th main entry in this groundbreaking sci-fi platforming franchise that started with the original NES classic way back in 1986. If you’re new to the Metroid saga, this quick guide will bring you up to speed on the space-faring adventures of Samus Aran…

Reblogged from GeektoGeekMedia.com
The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most recognizable franchises, alongside Super Mario, Metroid, Star Fox, and Kirby. It’s a franchise that’s been going strong for over 35 years and has 27 games to show for it. If you’re new to the series, it can be a little intimidating on where to start, especially when you consider how wonky the timeline is. So I’ve narrowed down a list of the 10 most essential Zelda games and ranked them to the best of my ability! While I’m mostly covering the main series of games, and primarily those released on Nintendo’s home consoles, I would first like to give a quick shoutout to a few honorable mentions: The “Hyrule Warrior” games (Wii U / DS, Switch), The Minish Cap (Game Boy Advance), Four Swords (Game Cube), Phantom Hourglass (DS), A Link Between Worlds (3DS), The Oracle of Ages/Seasons (Game Boy Color), and last but definitely not least: Link’s Crossbow (Wii)!

With the recent (long-awaited) release of Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” (2021) now on HBO Max and 4K Blu Ray, we now have the fully realized vision that first started in 2013’s “Man of Steel”, and continued with 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”! Considering this is essentially the third chapter of a trilogy, it only feels right to revisit the first two acts of this epic superhero saga before diving into this new (and very different) version of 2017’s “Justice League”…
