James Gunn’s DC Studios Announcements!

James Gunn (the director of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “The Suicide Squad”) was recently hired (along with Peter Safran) as the new creative director of DC Studios, and just last week announced a whole new slate of DC movies and shows – following the release of “The Flash” and “Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom”!

DC – Chapter One: “GODS AND MONSTERS”

  • Superman: Legacy (Hitting theaters July 11th, 2025! – Inspired by Grant Morrison’s “All Star Superman”)
  • Lanterns (Greg Berlanti live-action Green Lantern series!)
  • Creature Commandos (animated series)
  • Waller (‘Peacemaker’ / ‘Suicide Squad’ spin-off about Amanda Waller – starring: Viola Davis)
  • The Authority (based on characters from the Wildstorm comics by Jim Lee)
  • Paradise Lost (live action ‘Wonder Woman’ prequel series about the Amazons of Themyscira)
  • Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (Movie based on the Tom King mini-series, a cosmic fantasy with an edgier take)
  • Booster Gold (HBO Max series)
  • Swamp Thing (A horror movie, most likely taking influence from the Alan Moore comics)
  • The Brave and the Bold (A new Batman movie with the Damian Wayne Robin, inspired by Grant Morrison’s run!)

The Zack Snyder DC Trilogy: A “JUSTICE LEAGUE” Review (Part 3 of 3)

With the recent (long-awaited) release of Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” (2021) now on HBO Max and 4K Blu Ray, we now have the fully realized vision that first started in 2013’s “Man of Steel”, and continued with 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”! Considering this is essentially the third chapter of a trilogy, it only feels right to revisit the first two acts of this epic superhero saga before diving into this new (and very different) version of 2017’s “Justice League”

#2 – One part demi-goddess, two part boobs, all kickass.

Now here’s a classic heroine who rarely gets her due, often the center of controversy concerning her own wardrobe changes (to pants, or not to pants), this Amazon Princess has reverted back to a more classic look. Since her inception, WONDER WOMAN was a great concept, the first woman, superhero created by Dr. William Moulton Marston (who also invented the lie-detector). Wonder Woman was the first of many DC heroines including Supergirl, Black Canary, Batgirl, Batwoman, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, the Huntress, Power-girl, and Harley Quinn among countless others.
