“THE MATRIX: RESURRECTIONS” Theories and Predictions

Reblogged from ProbablyWork.com

With the upcoming release of the first new Matrix movie in nearly 20 years – “The Matrix: Resurrections” (in theaters and on HBO Max, December 22nd, 2021), we recently decided to do a deep dive into the Matrix series on the latest “season” of Podcasters Assemble, and it really got me thinking about what might be in store for the future of the franchise…

Warning: there will be spoilers for “The Matrix” (1999), “The Animatrix”, “The Matrix: Reloaded”, “The Matrix: Revolutions”, and potentially “The Matrix: Resurrections” (2021) if I’m at all right about my crazy fan theories!

A “Brief” Recap of the MCU Timeline (Part Two)

Reblogged from ProbablyWork.com

Click here for Part One of our MCU breakdown!

Phase Two picks up after the events of ‘The Avengers’ and re-focus back on their individual adventures before they reform in ‘Age of Ultron’. We also get introduced to some new characters as the cosmic side of things starts to take center stage. The timeline also gets a little nebulous here as these events take place roughly around the same time in different corners of the universe.

We also decided to include the Netflix Marvel shows on our list since they are tangentially related and according to rumors may still end up impacting upcoming MCU films and shows. Before we jump in though, we need to give a massive *spoiler warning* for anyone new to the MCU because most of these movies have some pretty big twists, so proceed with caution…

What’s next for the Ghostbusters post-Afterlife?

A “Brief” Recap of the MCU Timeline (Part One)

Reblogged from ProbablyWork.com

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been going strong for over a decade, and has already become the biggest, most-expansive franchise in movie history! First starting in 2008, with Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man”, starring Robert Downey Jr., who’s story eventually culminated with 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame” – the 22nd movie in the series. All of which was orchestrated behind the scenes by the one and only Kevin Feige!

The MCU continues with ‘Phase Four’ (including several new shows now streaming on Disney+). Most of these titles are intrinsically tied to the overarching narrative of the MCU as a whole, so where does everything fit in? If you’re not already a hardcore fan (like us), it can probably feel like A LOT to catch up on, so if you want to dive in and follow along in (mostly?) chronological order, the following is a *quick* guide to the MCU Timeline (so far), from Captain America: The First Avenger to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and beyond!

Comic Zombie Podcast #8: “Invincible” *and* “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”!

COMIC ZOMBIE – Issue #8: Invincible and Falcon and the Winter Soldier!

Chris and Erik discuss more Immortal Hulk comics, rumors surrounding the new John Stewart “Green Lantern” film as well as the HBO Max live action ‘Green Lantern Corps’ series, the “New Mutants” movie, the new “Mortal Kombat” movie, and finally we do a deep dive into both “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” (Disney +) and the all new “Invincible” animated series (Amazon Prime) based on the comics by Robert Kirkman!

*NOTE: We are painfully aware that Peyton Reed is NOT directing the upcoming MCU Fantastic Four feature film; at one point he was rumored for the position which excited us, but the actual director for the upcoming film is the director of the newest Spider-Man films, Jon Watts. For shame.
